For large recording space requirements we use remote rooms. Hotel rooms or conference rooms make for splendid "takedown" sessions. The project can be moved from "Base" to "Field" as desired.

Scenario: Record the drummer in a lava tube (just because you can). Mix-up drums and prepare further backing tracks back at studio. Move into Presidential Suite (or a remote coffee shack with electricity and a good catchment tank) for a few days of stellar vocal tracking sessions. Return to studio to assemble and produce.
